My cousin...always helpful ,in many ways

I have not seen Lorne in many years...we had moved to Nova Scotia when I was 15/16 and I have not been back to Manitoba often. When I graduated from College I wanted to go back to Flin Flon for a visit...so I went by plane to Winnipeg and caught a night bus up to Flin Flon and was staying with friends while there...I am not sure if Lorne was also up visiting or how he ended up helping me out...maybe it was Aunt Lilja...I can't remember...I wanted to go to Beaver Lake to see Aunt Lilja and Uncle Gisli and Uncle Jon but I had no way to get there...maybe I called Aunt Lilja and she sent him my way.Lorne came and picked me up at my friend's house and drove me out to Beaver Lake to visit with family...we spent the afternoon together and he was more than willing to drive me wherever I wanted to go...I will always remember his kindness and willingness to help out when he could. RIP dear cousin.
