Condolence From: Gwen Rodrigue

Condolence: I met Merribeth at Long Bow while visiting my sister Donna and Brother-in-law Wally. I enjoyed my walks with Merribeth and Donna down the highway. We talked away,watching for bears at the same time. I remember Merribeth walking her dog and stopping in for a visit along the way, always smiling and friendly. And our many times around the campfire enjoying coffee and goodies and singing. I even drove out with Raymond once and we sang along to the radio. Donna and I had lunch with Merribeth in May 2015 after her cancer treatments were over. I will miss her and my heart goes out to her family. Love, Gwen

Condolence From: Bruce Hunt & Joanne Mackinnon-Hunt

Condolence: The McFarlanes have been friends for several years. Recently, we became their neighbours at Longbow Lake, Ont. Merribeth loved to socialize & swim. Her distinctive orange hat was readily seen at the beach. Merribeth organized the "potato salad group" for the annual Labour Day pig roast.
Merribeth enjoyed cross stitch & she passed her works on to friends & family. The summer lake friend group extended into the off season with dinners & rummoli games held at various homes & restaurants.
We will miss Merribeth's infectious laugh & mischievous smile.
