Obituary for Merribeth McFarlane (Sedgwick)

Merribeth McFarlane

Merribeth Sedgwick was born August 8, 1945 in Minneapolis Minnesota USA. At the age of 13 moved to Canada and later graduated from Dryden High School in Ontario. In 1971, she would meet and marry her husband Raymond and become Merribeth McFarlane. In 1978 she would give birth to her only son Scott.

She enjoyed many things in life, but her greatest joy had to be her time at the lake where she was quite fond of going for a dip and the many friends she made out at Longbow Lake. In the winter she kept busy creating masterpieces of cross stitch and was looking forward to being a new grandmother. Unfortunately, she fell ill and was unable to ultimately win the battle with cancer and on Monday July 25 2016 at the age of 72, passed away. Now we're blessed with the knowledge that her granddaughter will have an amazing guardian angel.
