I was close to the Patterson family, their parents were my aunt and uncle.i grew up knowing Bob and Phil as we were closer in age and saw more of them.. I too had a younger sister and although they were very much part of the family, we didn't have the close relationship with the younger member of the family.So sad but a fact of life..maturity often brought us together. Life took us on our own journeys but I do remember asking Phil and Bob often about Freda. At one time Phil lived in Ontaro,Bob was in B.C and i live in Alberta. So much of our lives were lost to each other. I was proud to read of Freda's nursing accomplishments. She touched many. May she be at peace with her parents, free of pain.
