Condolence From: Gail Asper

Condolence: Don cared passionately about Winnipeg and was a tireless advocate for the Indigenous community as well. I always admired his energy, joie de vivre and commitment to leaving the world a better place. I am so, so sorry I never got a chance to thank him for all that he did. For many years, he was also part of our Global TV family – a family filled with so many wonderful characters including my dad, who was also very fond of Don. I hope Don and dad are trading tales and laughs somewhere. To Don’s family and friends, I’m very sorry for your loss AND for Winnipeg’s loss.

Condolence From: Terri Favel

Condolence: I wish to send my deepest condolences to Don Marks's family and friends. He was a friend of mine. I was very young and I gave him the name Great White Chief, don't know if he liked it but that is what I called him. Don't know if it was a good thing but for me it stuck. He was always Don Marks to me nothing more or nothing less. He will forever remain in the hearts and minds of those friends he cherish. Rest in Paradise Don Marks.
