Obituary for Juanito Susbilla
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Juanito “Joni” Susbilla on March 6, 2023 at the age of 70.
Joni was born on March 30, 1952 in Liliw, Laguna, Philippines. After marrying his wife Josefina (Baby), they moved to Los Banos, Laguna where they raised their two children John and Je-Anne. In 1992, Joni and their children moved to Melbourne, Australia to join Baby while she finished her studies. They moved back to the Philippines in 1996 where they remained until migrating to Winnipeg in 1998.
Joni is predeceased by his parents Aldolfo and Inocencia Susbilla and brother Geroncio Susbilla. He is survived by his beloved wife of 43 years Josefina “Baby”; his children John (Arlyn) and Je-Anne (Francis); grandchildren: Jayce, Arya, Lauren and Jacob, as well as his brothers and sister in London and the Philippines, and many nieces and nephews.
