Obituary for Faustino Miranda Mendoza
It is with great sadness we, the Mendoza family, announce the sudden passing of our beloved, Faustino "Tinoy" Mendoza on January 6, 2023 at 84 years old.
Tinoy is predeceased by his wife, Maura Mendoza, brothers Nestor and Primo Mendoza, and daughter Loreta Mendoza. He is survived by his six siblings, Generosa Mendoza, Doroteo Mendoza, Candelaria Hernandez, Gerardo Mendoza, Reynaldo Mendoza, Yolanda Deomampo and his five children, Cesar (Josie) Mendoza, Noel (Maricel) Mendoza, Ellen (Luis) Del Mundo, Alona Mendoza, and Jennie (Conrado) Inumerable. He will be greatly remembered by his 13 grandchildren, Cheryl, Charmaine, Ceejay, Abby (JD) Adiong, Nichole, Kenn, Ellaine, Darryl, Jeff, Cathlene, Jersey, Justin and Arvie Mendoza.
Tinoy was born on February 15, 1938 in Banga, Talisay, Batangas, Philippines and immegrated to Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada in 1999. He was loved by many, and will be greatly missed by his family in Canada, the United States, Sai Pan, and the Philippines.
The Mendoza family would like to thank everyone who has expressed their sincere condolences and prayers. We would also like to extend our thanks to the medical team of doctors and nurses in the Intensive Care Unit at the Grace Hospital for keeping Tinoy comfortable during his last moments.
The Celebration of Tinoy's life will be held in Winnipeg, Manitoba at the Mosaic Funeral Home at 1839 Inkster Blvd. on January 21, 2023 at 6:00 pm where the prayers will commence at 7:00 pm. Tinoy's family will fly home with him to the Philippines and be by his side at his final resting place.
