Obituary for Antonio Stasi
On January 2, 2023 beloved husband, father and grandfather Antonio Stasi, aged 76 years of Winnipeg, Manitoba, passed away peacefully at home.
Born in Toritto, Italy on December 14, 1946 to parents Michele Stasi and Benedetta Gagliardi.
Antonio and his wife, Anna Bux, started their lives in
Winnipeg in 1971, soon welcoming three lovely daughters.
He was a long-time employee of the city of Winnipeg’s public works department. After retiring he enjoyed playing cards with friends and busting people’s chops. Antonio was an amazing gardener with a green thumb making it look all too easy.
Antonio will be deeply missed by his beloved wife, Anna, children Bernedette (Michele)Tonia (Jon) and Maria (Vito), and his five grandchildren Tyler, Jesse, Niko, Marco, and Sebastian.
A celebration of Antonio’s life will be held at St. Ignatius Parish on January 12th at 1:00pm.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations in Antonio’s memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada.
