Obituary for Adriana Lourenco (Da Costa)

On the evening of November 22, 2022 surrounded by our love Mom passed away. We take comfort in knowing she is now with her siblings and parents. Cherishing her and all the memories made are her husband Antonio, sons Ceasar(Ezzie),Tony(Wendy),Vasco(Emilia). Proud Avó of 6 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Born in San Miguel Azores on August 17, 1935 Mom immigrated with her husband and son to Canada in June 1960. Mom was an amazing cook and loved her Sunday family dinners. She enjoyed her romance books, shows and fado music. Her legacy of recipes lives on in us. The last 18 years her health issues became more serious. Mom faced these challenges with grace and faith. We are so proud of her amazing strength and courage for all she had to endure. To all her care Angels on the third floor of Calvary Place God Bless You. We would like to express our love and gratitude for all you did to care for Mom. Mass of celebration is Wednesday November 30 at 1 PM at Immaculate Conception Parish,181 Austin St. Internment at Assumption Cemetery, 3990 Portage Ave. In lieu of flowers please consider a donation in her honour to the Alzheimer's Society.
