December 1, 1951-November 6, 2022
It is with great sadness we announce that on November 6, 2002, with Louise by his side, William (Bill) passed away due to complications associated with diabetes.
Bill will be greatly missed by his mother Nadya Black, his partner Louise Dureault, the many members of his family and also his special group of friends.
Most of Bill’s long teaching career was spent in Edmonton and Calgary as he was a member of the Alberta Teachers’ Association.
He also had a background in horticulture, did landscaping in Edmonton, and continued his love for plants here in Winnipeg.
He had a large collection of music and enjoyed listening to many different artists. His love of music also led him into ballroom dancing which he enjoyed with Louise.
In keeping with his wishes cremation has taken place.
In lieu of flowers, should you desire, donations may be made on his behalf to Diabetes Canada, or the Kidney Foundation of Canada.
