Obituary for Cleo Warren Kelvin Linklater

Cleo Linklater, 71 years old, passed away on Tuesday June 28th at St. Boniface Hospital.

Cleo is predeceased by his parents, Dempsey and Florence Agnes, his infant sister Yuille Anne and his brothers David, Keith, Jay and Doug. Left to remember him are his brothers Derence (Sandra), John, Robin and sisters Stephanie, Iris and Florence. He sadly also leaves behind his children, Kelly, Kevin and Kim (Craig), his grandchildren Cole (Michaela), Mikala (Ella) and Ethan and his great-grandchildren Kylen and Myla as well as many nieces and nephews. He will also be remembered fondly by his ex-wife Lynn (Dan) and many long-time friends.

Cleo was born in Grand Marais Manitoba May 25, 1951. He spent most of his life working in Manitoba before moving to Fort McMurray to work until his retirement, then he moved back to Winnipeg to be closer to family.

Cleo lived a simple life, not needing much but always willing to share what he had. He loved his kids, was known for his happy spirits, his joking nature, love of long drives in the countryside and conversations over coffee.

Those who knew Cleo know he hated being fussed over, so at his request there will be no service.
