Obituary for Gilbert C. Mozo
It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts we announce the sudden passing of Gilbert C. Mozo. He passed away on May 31, 2022 at the age of 50.
Gilbert was a bright person and brought joy to everyone around him. He was a sweet, joyful, loving, and caring father to his children and to his wife. Gilbert was a friend, a hard worker who had a perfect attendance at his job, dabarkads founder, player, coach, son, brother, uncle, and most importantly a Dad. He loved bonding with his family through sports, most notably basketball, video games, singing, dancing, and enjoyed joking around with everyone. Gilbert loved karaoke and drinking, his graphic tees, Jordan’s and his old songs. These songs were passed on to his kids and to many of the people who were fortunate enough to meet Gilbert. He loved to be called “Gil”, “Gizmo”, “Gil Pogie 648”, and his mom referred to him as her “Gifted Son”. Gilbert is loved by many.
Left to cherish his memories are his three children Jenisa, Albert, Angeline May and his beloved wife, Janine. He was predeceased by his father Alberto who passed away in 2013. He is survived by his mother Elsa, his siblings Maribeth (Edric), Elbert (Ruby), his twin brother Englebert (Agee), other relatives and friends. He will be greatly missed and will forever be in our hearts.
