Obituary for Luisa Perey
Peacefully on Sunday, April 17, 2022, at Grace Hospital in Winnipeg, age 91, Luisa Perey passed away. At the time of her passing she was surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her beloved husband Cresenciano Perey. Left to cherish her memories are her 10 children; Amelia (Lito) Vargas (Philippines), Danilo (Susan) Perey (Philippines), Emma (Jowen) Sangalang, Fernando (Cora) Perey (Philippines), Gloria (Romano) De Castro, Herminia (Carlos) Lacson, Ireneo (Jovita) Perey, Josephine Perey, Eduardo (Josie) Perey, Emily (Ramon) Javier; 34 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren.
Luisa was born in Cavite, Philippines and immigrated to Winnipeg, MB in 1992. Luisa enjoyed the simple things in life. A simple car ride to the grocery store would make her day. She will be remembered for always singing and humming her favourite song ‘Hesus’.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, April 29, 2022 at 6:00pm to 12:00 midnight at Mosaic Funeral Services located at 1839 Inkster Blvd. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 30, 2022 at 11:00am at St. Edwards Parish followed by a burial at Assumption Cemetery.
