Obituary for Genaro Altasin
Genaro Altasin, 65, passed away peacefully on Sunday morning, February 6, 2022.
Genaro is survived by his beautiful wife, Josephine. He was a proud father to three daughters: Marianne, Alyssa and Danielle. He is predeceased by his parents Gaudencio and Marciana; siblings Nenita (Clemente Magno), Anselmo (Jennifer) and Luisito (Jessica), He is survived by siblings Venancio (Aniceta(d.)), Bonifacio (Evelyn), Leticia (Godofredo Casim) and Gaudencio Jr. (Regina).
His bright smile and unfiltered sense of humour will be missed dearly. His favourite activities were bowling with friends, watching sports with family and road trips to Gimli. He was a proud employee at the Health Sciences Centre and made many housekeeping friends during his 23 years of service. He sacrificed years of work to provide for his family.

Viewing/Lamay service will be held on Saturday, February 12, 2022 commencing at 4:00 pm, at Mosaic Funeral Chapel 1839 Inkster Blvd. Proof of double vaccination and masks are required to attend service.
Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 15, 2022 at 11:00 am with mass service at St. Edwards Church, 836 Arlington Ave.
Interment will take place at Brookside Cemetery, 3001 Notre Dame Ave.
