Arriving in Canada in Aug 1970 he worked for a few companies in Winnipeg with the longest
being at Tan Jay as a sewing machine mechanic. He used his skills to start M Ben Sewing
Machine Services. Always tinkering and making lasting friendships along the way. He also
volunteered at Nayong Phillipino pavilion during folklorama, was part of the Knights of
Columbus and Knights of Rizal.

Upon his retirement Moises filled his days loving, caring and helping his family and friends. He
loved cooking and experimenting with recipes. When you visit with him he would always send
“baon” food to take home. Sometimes he would just bring food over to the house. To fill his days
he would go fishing, go out for coffee with friends or sing his favorite karaoke songs. The thing
he loved the most was spoiling the kids with trips to Mcdonald’s,ice cream, chinese food, parks
or anywhere a child would request. He was happiest being around his grandchildren,
great-grandchildren, family and friends.

Forever in our hearts watching over us from heaven
