Obituary for Bienvenido Satsatin Ferrer

Bienvenido “Ben” Ferrer
Born on January 12, 1942
Peacefully passed away on May 25, 2021

On May 25th, 2021, our beloved Father, Grandfather, Brother, Uncle, Friend, Bienvenido “Ben” Ferrer joined his Creator peacefully in his sleep at St. Boniface Hospital, Winnipeg MB, at the age of 79.
Ben will be dearly missed by his loving wife, Carmelita. Left to cherish his memories are his children, Jasmin (Mhan), Bong (Michelle), Ogie (Fhel), Jenny (Alex), & Jayson (Marianne). As well as his 12 loving grandchildren, Jerbie, Jonnar, Bing (Jovic), Jomar, Echo, Jellaine, Jeanelle, Jovelle, Jaimee, Jerome, Jensen and Jenessa; and his siblings (Rosalina & Anita)
Ben was born on January 12, 1942 in Imus, Cavite, Philippines. He graduated from Del Pilar Academy and later traveled to Saudi Arabia to work and support his family back home. In 1993, the family consisting of Ben, Mely and their five children decided to move and permanently live in Winnipeg as their second home.
Ben enjoyed playing cards, watching Filipino teleserye, and spending quality time with his family. His compassion, resilience and strength left a lasting legacy and forever will be remembered. If there is one word that best describes Ben, it would be his thoughtfulness. He cared a lot for his love ones. He will be truly missed.
We would like to extend our sincere gratitude to the palliative care team of St. Boniface Hospital for their kindness and constant support.
