Soy Sem
May 5, 1945 – April 6, 2021
"It is with great sadness that the family of Soy Sem announce her passing on April 6, 2021.
Soy Sem was born on May 5, 1945 in Battambang Kampuchea. She will he remembered by her loving husband Lonh Uch; her seven children, four son/daughter-in-laws, fourteen grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
She is predeceased by her daughter Kabath Uch in Cambodia during the Khmer Rouge war.
Soy's love for her family knew no boundaries and always welcomed others into her family with open arms.
She was a warrior that won many battles. Her last battle however was a short one with her two daughters by her side as she succumbed her battle with cancer and passed away peacefully.
Soy radiated love and kindness everywhere she went. Her memory will live on in the hearts of her loved ones.
A private service with immediate family will take place on Sunday, April 11, 2021.
The family would like to thank the staff at Health Sciences Center for their care and the staff at Mosaic Funeral Cremation and Cemetery Services for their services."
