Obituary for Leticia Andraneda Orpiano

LETICIA ADRANEDA ORPIANO
April 5, 1950 - December 10, 2020

It is with deep sorrow that we are mourning the passing of Leticia at the age of 70. She succumbed to organ failure after being diagnosed with breast cancer last month. We have lost a wife, mother, aunt, sister, friend, a great educator; but, we celebrate the great life she has lived and the many lives she has touched and influenced.

Leticia dedicated her life in educating young minds. She studied diligently until she finished her doctoral degree albeit busy working as a school administrator while being a mother and a wife. She was a school principal in several public and private high schools in the Province of Bataan, (in the Philippines) for the past 20 years or so. Then in 2003, she was promoted as Education Supervisor in the whole province until her retirement in 2013. The following year, she was recognized by the Department of Education as an Outstanding Education Program Supervisor in the whole Central Luzon Region. She will be remembered by her colleagues, subordinates and anyone else who knew her as a kind, warm-hearted, industrious, and good-natured person and leader.

She will be forever missed by her husband and greatest love, Ernesto; loving children, Anna Lei, Ronan, Roy, Ryan and Ernelle; daughters and son in law, Chit, Julie, Jona and Rodel; grandchildren, Julius, Roxanne, Yanyan, Allen, Jillian, Yanna, Nicolas, Nathaniel, Louis, Zinny, and Edna; as well as family relatives, countless students, colleagues, subordinates and friends.

We will celebrate the fruitful life of Leticia to be held at ______TBA__________ on _________TBA_______. We hope to bring her remains home (in the Philippines) in the coming days by God’s grace and mercy.
