Lolita Reyes Saguinsin

It is with great sadness and heartache that we share with you the passing of our beloved Lolita Reyes Saguinsin. She passed peacefully with family, at St. Boniface Hospital on December 16, 2020.

She leaves to mourn, her loving husband of 67 years; Delfin Saguinsin Sr. and is survived by her children; Elfie (Ernesto), Susan (Leo), Elisa, Delfin Jr. (Rosy), Perla, Erlinda (Arthur), and Dante (Loida). She is also survived by her grandchildren and her great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her son; Caesar (Linda), and daughter; Belma.

Lolita was born on July 2, 1933 in Angono Rizal, Manila, Philippines. Lolita and her family immigrated to Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada on May 11, 1989. She worked many years as a seamstress prior to retirement.

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Her smile was contagious, it outshined the whole room. Lolita loved spending time with her family, she is the reasoning behind every gathering, she loved when family was together, and she made sure no one was ever left behind, and all was welcome. She was a great listener, she always had a piece of advice to offer, memories to share, she was very caring, kind and generous. She had an excellent memory, and remembered every phone number to call and greet every loved one on their special day. Many memories with her will remain forever in our hearts, she will always be remembered.

“Igalang mo ang iyong ama at ang iyong ina: upang ang iyong mga araw ay tumagal sa ibabaw ng lupa na ibinibigay sa iyo mg Panginoon mong Dios” Exodo 20:12
