Obituary for Jose Cabigting
Jose Cabigting
April 16, 1933 – December 14, 2020
It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of Jose Cabigting at 87 years of age. Jose was a strong, hard working and loving man who loved to joke and share stories. He was born in Pampanga, Philippines to Francisco and Juanita. In 1953, he married the love of his life, Ofelia Sun, whom he told was beautiful everyday until her passing shortly after their 50th golden wedding anniversary. He was later married to Virgie Maniaul until her passing. Jose is now with our beloved mother and Lola, his parents, siblings and son in law Alfonso. His youngest sister Ondic joined him in heaven a day after his passing.
Left to mourn are Jose's children, Rey (Isabelita), Tony (Lourdes), Monica (Jim), Mercy (Eranio), and Jolly; his grandchildren, Joyce (Alex), Ryan (Zara), Richie, Ivy (June), Leslie (Neal), Reynold (Sandee), Sharon (Andrew), Randell, Chris, Jeremy, Mikaela, Maylea, Jaylyn, and Julika; and many great grandchildren.
The viewing and Mass of the Resurrection will be Monday December 21, 2020 at Mosaic Funeral Home and St. Edward Roman Catholic Church with interment following at the Assumption Cemetery & Queen of Heaven Mausoleum.
Due to the pandemic and public health orders, the mass, viewing and interment will all be private. Special thanks to all the staff at the Calvary Place Personal Care Home and to family and friends who have reached out to us. Rest in peace Tang/Lolo. Our heart is always with you.
