Obituary for Concepcion Toledo Castro

Concepcion Toledo Castro a.k.a Connie Lapuz Toledo

May 11, 1948 - November 24, 2020

Connie Lapuz Toledo, age 72, suffered stroke last August 16, 2020 and died peacefully in the arms of the Lord on 24 November 2020 at Deer Lodge Centre in Winnipeg Manitoba.

She will be dearly missed by her only surviving son John Dave Toledo Castro , Cherry Diato Castro (daughter in-law ), Glenn Toledo Castro (†), Jasmin Sapitan Castro (daughter in-law ) and also survived by the father of her children David Pagtakhan Castro. She will forever be Lola Babes for her grandchildren: Kirk Jensen, Kyle Jastin, Kyla Janelle, Cher Sanrio and First John. She is also survived by her siblings Ernesto Lapuz Toledo, Lita Toledo Laudato and Aning Toledo Dela Cuesta.

Funeral Arrangements:Due to the current Covid-19 gathering restrictions in person attendance at the viewing and mass of resurrection will be private for the immediate family only.

Viewing (lamay) will be held at Mosaic Funeral Chapel, 1839 Inkster Blvd., Saturday, 28 November 2020 at 6:00 p.m. - 10:00 a.m. and a livestream of the service will be posted in the Facebook.

Private mass of resurrection will be held at St. Peter’s Roman Catholic Church at 11:00 AM.

The Castro family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the staff at Health Science Centre and Deer Lodge Centre, and to all the friends and family who offered their support and prayers.
