Keith William Hassan
July 11, 1944 – October 30, 2020
It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of Keith William Hassan, beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend, on October 30, 2020, at the age of 76 years.
Keith will always be in the hearts of his children Melinda-Jo (Rick), Richard (Jennifer), and Jeffrey as well as his grandchildren Megan, Amber, Roger, Matthew (Sarah), Mitchell, Allan, and Terrina, great-grandchildren Cody, Kayla, Shanelle, Jaden, Neveah-Lyn, Sean Patrick, Danni-Lyn, Ryan, Nathan, and Jeremy. Keith will be fondly remembered by his sister Lynn and many other family and friends.
He was predeceased by his beloved wife of 47 years, Joyce; his daughter, Daphne Hagans; his grandson, Daniel Zaste; his granddaughter, Jaime Lynne Hagans; and parents, William and Helen (Ella) Hassan.
Keith retired in 1996 from the Manitoba Telephone System as Manager of Quality Control with over 30 years of dedicated service. He loved building things, travelling, and camping with his family and friends. He was particularly fond of nature and its little creatures.
The family wishes to thank the staff of Maples Personal Care Home for their extraordinary care with Keith over the past four years.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Winnipeg Humane Society and Fort Whyte Alive.
