Celia Francisco
January 20, 1950 – July 1, 2020
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved wife and mother, Celia Francisco on July 1, 2020 at the age of 70 years.
Celia was predeceased by her parents Antonio and Guillerma Dela Cruz.
Celia is survived by her husband, Enrico, her two sons; Kenneth and Kristian, two grandchildren, Kaleb and Kyrie; her sister (Amelia) and brothers (Wilfredo and Leopoldo); the many nephews and nieces who will carry the memories of Celia.
She spent her youth in the Philippines before immigrating to Winnipeg in 1980 as a seamstress. She was a hard worker until she retired at the age of 67.
Celia was a kind, generous woman who would always lend a hand to those in need. She had a great sense of humour and an infectious laugh that we will never forget.
The family would like to express their gratitude to the staff at Cancercare and Women's hospital for their wonderful care throughout her battle.
Due to Covid restrictions, a private family service will be held.
