Obituary for Josefina Austria Ruivivar

Josefina “Fanny” Austria-Ruivivar
January 25, 1931 – December 22, 2019
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, sister, Josefina “Fanny” Ruivivar, on December 22, 2019.
Fanny grew up in Gerona, Tarlac, Philippines; lived in Makati, Philippines with husband and children then lived almost 10 years in Winnipeg. Though she had a precarious medical condition, Fanny lived a good and full-filled life, soft-hearted, loving and caring for her family, and siblings. She enjoyed playing solitaire and mahjong and dancing tango.
Left to mourn are: her daughters Beth and Josephine (Gil Ubaldo); her grandchildren Jilliane & (Ryan Miranda), Jinny and Ryan (Sarah Delfin) Daswani; her great grandchildren Sophie and Beckham Miranda; Olive and Eli Daswani; sister-in-law Elena; siblings: Rudy, Carmen, Teresita, Romy, Nilda; and many nieces and nephews.
Shee was predeceased and welcomed with loving arms by: husband Ruben, her parents Alipio and Pacita; step-mother Silveriana; her siblings Porfirio, Conrado and Tita.
Her family would like to thank her homecare staff Giselle Ramiro and Mia Ocampo and all the staff of Unit 11 Seven Oaks General Hospital.
A memorial service will be held on December 28, 2019 at The Living Christ Community Church on 815 Inkster Blvd (corner Sinclair) at 3 pm. A reception will follow.
A private family interment will take place on January 10, 2020 at Chapel Lawn.
