Aurora Soriano
July 3, 1923 – November 26, 2019

Aurora Gacuya Soriano peacefully passed away at the age of 96 on Tuesday, November 26, 2019 at the Grace General Hospital. She was preceded in death by her parents: Nympha Villanueva and Pedro Gacuya, brother Pedrito, sister Natividad and husband Gregorio M. Soriano Sr. She is survived by her children: Hermie (Rodrigo), Gary (Esther), Minda (Levy), Nelson (Susan), George (Corazon), Nemeeh (Eddie+), Roy (Melody), Greg Jr. (Merlyn) and Edward. Grandchildren: Reyna, Edgar (Madeline), Edmund, Nemie, Lawrence (Cithiena),Lowell, Lance, Lani Christopher, Leslie, Jan (Berina), Nelson Lee, Joanna, Jellyn, Jenessa, George Jr.+, Mark (Chi), Liezl (Carlos), Maricel (Gerry), Michelle Lee (Vinnie), Ryan Lee, Samantha, and Fifteen(15) great grandchildren.
“Inang” as fondly called by everyone was a very loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She loved talking on the phone with her friends and took care of her grandchildren when they were young. Inang Aurora’s smile and her beauty will sincerely be missed and her memories will forever be remembered by her family, extended families and friends.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the staff at Fred Douglas Lodge – Oak Unit and everyone who expressed their condolences and have come to comfort us in this time of great sorrow and need.
Lamay/Viewing will be held on Friday, November 29, 2019 commencing at 6:00 p.m. at Mosaic Funeral Chapel, 1839 Inkster Blvd., Winnipeg, MB.

Prayer Vigil will be held at 7:00 P.M. at Mosaic Funeral Chapel on Friday evening.

Mass of the Resurrection will be held on Monday, November 30, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. from St. Edward's Roman Catholic Church, 836 Arlington St. with Father Rainerio Sarce celebrant.

Internment will follow at Glen Eden Memorial Gardens, 4477 Main St. Winnipeg, MB.
