Leonardo “Narding” Mendoza Carlos
November 27, 1961 - October 12, 2019


Leonardo Mendoza Carlos, age 57, passed peacefully on October 12, 2019 surrounded by his family.
Leonardo was born on November 27, 1961 in Pampanga, Philippines. He was the oldest son of Eduardo and Leonila Carlos. In Pampanga, he grew up with his six siblings; Willy, Jocy, Donis, Oliver, Bong, and Grace.
After finishing high school, he worked as a painter, factory worker, and as a construction worker. He also worked in Saudi Arabia from 1986 to 1994 as an OFW. Leo married the love of his life Elsie Mallanao Carlos on July 1, 1992. They have 3 beautiful daughters; Ingrid, Lealyn, and Sharmaine.
Leonardo and his family immigrated to Winnipeg, Canada on 2011. He worked as a construction worker at J&D Penner. He enjoyed singing karaoke, watching the Food Network and Weather Channel, and listening to his favorite songs while resting in his room or sitting on his recliner. He was also a great cook and he was known for his special dishes such as adobo, batchoy, and grilled porkchop. He was an all-around father/husband who enjoyed from cooking to making renovations around the house. Leonardo was a compassionate father and would always make sure that everyone around him was taken care of. He was always ready to help other people. He had touched many lives with his generosity and passion for helping others.
Leonardo “Narding” Carlos will always be loved and greatly missed. Rest in Peace!
