Aurora “Baby” De Leon-Villamayor
August 09, 1961 – June 14, 2019
Aurora Villamayor, 57, passed away on Friday, June 14, 2019 in Winnipeg, Manitoba, surrounded by her family and close relatives.
Aurora was born to the late Silvino and Telesfora De Leon on August 9, 1961 in Pasig City Philippines. She earned a degree in Bachelor of Science in Banking and Finance in San Sebastian College in 1985. She then worked as an Accounting Clerk and Administrative Assistant in the Philippines.
Aurora was a devoted wife and mother to husband Ismael Villamayor Jr. and 3 children, Kristel, Khaye and Kiou. They lived together in Angono, Rizal, Philippines before migrating here in Winnipeg last 2009. Aurora worked in agencies providing childcare and support. She was active serving at St. Patrick’s church through El Shaddai and was a member of the Choir Ministry for 7 years. Last 2017, she became one of the council of El Shaddai DWXI-PPFI Winnipeg West Chapter.
Aurora was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, aunt and friend. She will be missed by family, relatives, friends and co-workers here in Canada and overseas.
Viewing “lamay” will be held on Saturday, June 22, 2019 from 6:00PM to 12:00AM at Mosaic Funeral Chapel, 1839 Inkster Boulevard, Winnipeg, MB.
Mass of the Resurrection will be held on Tuesday, June 25, 2019, 10:00AM at St. Patrick’s Roman Catholic Church, 172 Worth St. Winnipeg, MB.
