Obituary for Marshall David Shuster
MARSHALL DAVID SHUSTER
JUNE 10, 1959 – APRIL 10, 2019
On April 10, 2019 it is with much sadness the family of Marshall David Shuster
announce the unexpected passing at the young age of 59. Marshall was a wonderful
son, brother, uncle, nephew, friend and colleague. Marshall touched the lives of all he
met in a very special way.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his mother Esther Shuster, sister Judy Eschuk
(John), sister Linda Newman, brother Brian Shuster (Robin-Ann). As well as many
nephews and nieces, Chas, Tia, Bryce, Robert, Michael, Samantha and Gabriel and
extended family of aunts and cousins.
Marshall was predeceased by our sister Elaine Shuster, our brother-in-law Les Newman,
our father Bob Shuster, our Baba and Zaida Lila and Charlie Levine and Baba Dasha
Shuster-Garfinkel.
We are grateful for the overwhelming support from family and friends and like to
thank the caring staff of St. Boniface Hospital, Winnipeg Police Service and Winnipeg
Fire Paramedic Service.
Cremation has already taken place. An informal reception celebrating Marshall’s life
took place on Tuesday, April 16, 2019 3:00 P.M. at Four Points by Sheraton – Winnipeg
International Airport. Marshall was a man who gave everything he had and only
wanted the satisfaction he felt by helping, in return. In lieu of flowers, Marshall’s
family ask you to celebrate his life with simple acts of charity and generosity
to: Winnipeg Pet Rescue Shelter, Manitoba Mutts Dog Rescue Inc., The
Children’s Wish Foundation Manitoba or time with someone you love, a
kindness to stranger, or an hour of volunteering.
He will be missed by many and loved by all. A new path has been chosen for Marshall.
Until we meet again. We love you!
