Jack (John) Rown Arthur Stewart June 19, 1948-April 8, 2019 It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Jack (John) Rown Arthur Stewart on Monday April 8, 2019 at Seven Oaks General hospital, at the age of 70. Jack left behind his three daughters Rhonda (Brad), Rachel (Jeremy), Rebecca (Patrick), his six grandchildren, one great-grandchild, his cat Katu and his work family. Jack was born in Glasgow Scotland and immigrated to Winnipeg Manitoba when he was nine. Jack worked in the aviation industry until his retirement. He had a strong passion for cars and planes and could always tell you the engine, model and details of any plane that flew overhead. Jack loved to sit in the sun watching the birds and feeding the rabbits and squirrels. He always had a bag of peanuts for his little friends who showed up daily for their treats. Jack enjoyed sharing the tales of his work travels with his girls, leaving them roaring with laughter and often requesting to hear them again. Jack’s stories, humor, sarcastic wit and company will be missed.
A service for Jack will be held at 10:00 am, Saturday, April 13, 2019 at Mosaic Funeral Services 1839 Inkster Blvd. Refreshments to follow.
