October 22, 1972 – March 22, 2019
Danilo “Danny” Cruz passed away peacefully on March 27, 2019 at St. Boniface Hospital with his family by his side at the age of 46. He will be greatly missed by his family in Winnipeg, Surrey and the Philippines. Danny was born on October 22, 1972 in Pasig, Philippines and he immigrated to Winnipeg at the age of 10. Danny was known for his friendliness and kindness towards others. He had a smile that was contagious, a wonderful sense of humour and an unrelenting positive attitude. The family would like to thank the staff at the WRHA Community Mental Health program for the assistance and support given to Danny over the years. We are very grateful for the care and support from the staff at CancerCare Manitoba and the St. Boniface Hospital Palliative Care Unit.
