Obituary for Ellen Louise Wilson
ELLEN LOUISE WILSON (nee GRAVELINE)
April 13, 1924 – January 14, 2019
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother, Ellen Wilson, on January 14, 2019 at the age of 94. Ellen was predeceased by her husband Jack Wilson in 1973 and her partner Art Sperring in 2006. She leaves to mourn her passing daughters Glenda (Ron) and Dorothy (Gary); Grandchildren Cheryl (Ken); Jeff (Sue); Derek (Lisa); Brian (Vanessa); Mark (Julia). Great grand-children Gracie, Brynn, Shia, Daniel and Anthony; sister Gail, brother Donald, sister-in-law Trudy and many nieces and nephews.
A special thanks to doctors and nurses on the 6th floor of the St. Boniface Hospital for the wonderful care they gave mom.
Cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will be held Saturday, February 2, 2019 between 2 and 4 pm at the Norberry-Glenlee Community Centre, 26 Molgat Avenue, Winnipeg.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Salvation Army, 203- 290 Vaughn Street, Winnipeg, MB. R3B 2N8.
