Forever Friends

We first met at Eaton's and we became close friends, in fact, you were my bridesmaid. I remember the day of my shower, under the pretense of leaving your gloves at the Belgium Club Hall you literally dragged me in the hall. I said there is a party going on I am not going in. You go it's your gloves. Within moments you pushed me in and I closed my eyes as I was so embarassed as I was standing in the room. As I slowly opened my eyes I recognized a few people and started to apologize for barging in, then it hit me that it was my shower. Until that moment I had no clue, well played Gail.

We connected again when we were both living in St. Vital. I would come with my son in his stroller to visit you and Debbie, Donna and Wendy.

Over the years we contacted each other over long telephone calls and tried to meet for lunch on our birthdays, April 6 and July 14 and on other occasions.

We laughed and cried together over the years as we listened and supported each other. That's what friends are for.

Although I cannot be with you, you will always be in my thoughs and heart.
