Joseph "Joey Boy" Albert Hilapo

Joey passed away in his home at the age of 58. He was genuinely selfless and thoughtful. He cared deeply for his family and friends, and never hesitated to help how he could. He enjoyed being outdoors. As an avid fisherman & camper, he excelled using his problem solving and survival skills.

He is predeceased by his parents, Alberto & Catalina, and leaves to mourn his only child Alyssa, his siblings Alenie, Alelie, and Santy, nieces and nephews, his brotherhood in Alpha Phi Omega, and many friends and relatives in Canada and Philippines.

He was loved very much and his humour and positivity will truly be missed.

Lamay will commence at 6:00 PM and Vigil Prayers will be said at 7:00 PM on Saturday, April 7, 2018 at Mosaic Funeral Chapel, 1839 Inkster Blvd. Cremation to follow.

Memorial Mass on Thursday April 12, 2018, 10:30am at St. Patrick's Church 172 Worth Street, Winnipeg, MB.
