Obituary for Eddie Zamkotowich

Eddie Zamkotowich
Ed Michael Zamkotowich born May 16, 1944, passed away peacefully in his sleep at 6:30 a.m on November 14, 2017, with his wife Donna and his brother Frank at his side.

He was pre-deceased by his son Darren and his sister Alice. His two great passions in life were his family, and golf.

His sense of humour, warmth, and unwavering support will be greatly missed by his wife Donna, sons Dean (wife Debbie, daughters Sara, Michelle and Nicole, and granddaughter Hilarie) and Craig, his daughters Trish and Leona, his granddaughter Katie (daughter Emma), his brother Frank (wife Christine), his brother-in-law Don, his mother-in-law Pat, sister-in-law Gale (husband Jim), and brother-in-law Jerry, as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends.

He will also be greatly missed by his furred, feathered, and scaly friends Bogey, Jake, Star, Ash, and Buddy. At Ed's request, there will be no formal service. Ed would prefer his many friends and acquaintances remember the times they spent together, and celebrate his life.

In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in Ed's name to either CancerCare Manitoba (Children's Cancer Unit), the Kidney Foundation Manitoba or the Winnipeg Humane Society
