Ima was born in Magalang, Pampanga, PH on May 10, 1925. Her parents passed away at a young age and her aunt raised her where she spent most of her young life working on the farm. She was known to have the best memory. She worked as a stay at home mom and also cooked and catered for various events such as birthdays and weddings. She was an amazing cook who evidently passed on her culinary talents to all her children. Her daughter Carmelita immigrated to Canada in 1972. She followed a few years later and immigrated to Winnipeg, MB in 1980 with her husband, her sons Crisencio, Carlito, Renato, Jesus and her daughter Clarita. Here she worked for a manufacturing company that made medical devices. Her friends and family will truly miss her. Our family would like to extend our gratitude to all the staff at Fred Douglas Lodge- Spruce Wing, for taking care of our Ima in her final years, and to all of our friends and extended families for your continued support and love during this difficult time.
