JIMENEZ, LEANNE CARLOS
(December 11,1998 - April 15, 2017)
Leanne Carlos Jimenez, aged 18, sadly passed away on Saturday, April 15, 2017, at St. Boniface Hospital, after fighting a battle against cancer.

She will be lovingly remembered by her parents Jessie and Maribel Jimenez, her sister, Cheenebelle and brother-in-law Kelvin, and niece Vinnee Paris, and her grandparents Araceli Jimenez & Aurora Carlos.

Leanne was born and grew up in Olongapo City, Philippines. She came to Canada with her mom and her sister on March 18, 2010, by the help of their father.
Leanne finished junior high at Stanley Knowles. She graduated high school in Nelson McIntyre Collegiate. Leanne was very thoughtful, generous, adventurous, and she was a passionate young lady. She was also outgoing with a terrific sense of humor. Leanne loved playing sports like soccer. She joined dance club and drama club at her school. Her battle was very admirable and inspired a lot of people. Those who were fortunate enough to meet her and know her already miss her. She will never be forgotten.

Viewing and Lamay will be held on Friday, April 21, 2017 and on Saturday, April 22, 2017, both days from 6:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. at Mosaic Funeral Chapel, 1839 Inkster Blvd. Prayers will be held on both evenings, with the Friday evening of Lamay with Father Chris Dubois presiding.

Mass of the Resurrection will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 25, 2017 at St. Peters Roman Catholic Church, 748 Keewatin Street with Father Chris Celebrant.

Interment in Assumption Cemetery, 3990 Portage Avenue. Reception to follow at Mosaic Reception Centre, 1839 Inkster Blvd.

The family would like to thank the staff at St. Boniface Hospital Palliative Care for all their wonderful care given to the family.
