Condolences

Condolence From: Jim Fulton
Condolence: Rest in peace Lorne. I am very lucky to have known you. Your determination to deal with what life dealt out to you and the way you did it was amazing. I am also thinking about your family and friends who must be feeling really sad.

Condolence From: Kristin
Condolence: Lorne was my favourite Uncle. (Sorry to all my other uncles who read this but it is true) when I was a little girl he would always find time to joke and play with me when the other adults were visiting. I remember uncle Lorne was visiting and I had an accident and needed stitches. I REFUSED to go to the hospital without my uncle Lorne to hold my hand. Everyone who met him, loved him. He had the kindest heart of anyone I know. We will miss you. Be at peace now, and know how much you are loved.

Condolence From: Joan (Einarson)
Condolence: Joan Griffin In 1994, when Dodie and I travelled to Winnipeg (I for my nursing reunion, Dodie to spend some time with her father), we had just been talking about friends who claimed that people knew Dodie wherever she was. As we came down the escalator, Dodie commented that a man was staring at us. When we got to the bottom of the escalator, the young man came over and asked, "Are you Dodie?" We were kind of surprised, especially after the discussion we had had about everyone knowing Dodie. What a surprise to find out it was Lorne. He knew we were flying in that day and was at the airport just to say hi. I'll never forget that!
