Obituary for Marlene Eusanio (Tennyson)

Marlene Eusanio (Tennyson)
Marlene Eusanio
August 12, 1955 – August 3, 2017

It is with heavy hearts and deep sadness that we share the sudden passing of our beloved Marlene Eusanio (nee MacKenzie/Tennyson). Marlene was tragically taken from us in a hit and run on August 3, 2017 just blocks from her home in Winnipeg.

Born August 12, 1955 in Washington DC, Marlene’s childhood was spent in Cape Town SA before moving on to Montreal.

A caring soul and kind and giving friend, Marlene loved her garden, her dogs Ben and Sass, her friends and family and her husband Jean-Louis.

Years of service in sales at Claire's Accessories and Sears in Kelowna, BC prior to their relocation to Winnipeg, MB gave Marlene great friends and rich memories. An immensely proud mother of sons Jason and Trevor and a doting grandmother to grandchildren Langdon and Hayden, and Ewan and Gregor, Marlene's family was a constant priority in her life. A soul mate and partner in crime in husband Jean-Louis, married for 18 years full of laughter and tears, adventures and memories. Jean-Louis' unwavering love and support of Marlene's dreams demonstrates the depth of their commitment to one another.

Marlene’s light will brightly shine on and be carried by those who survived her: husband Jean-Louis, sons Jason MacKenzie (wife Jaime and children Langdon and Hayden) and Trevor MacKenzie (wife Sarah and sons Ewan and Gregor), brother Robert, ex-husband Angus. Marlene was predeceased by her father Wilmat and mother Monica.

A private celebration of life will be prepared by the family in the near future. In lieu of a public service please send flowers to the growing memorial at 259 Marion Street, St.Boniface, Winnipeg, make a donation to your local women’s shelter, or leave comments of love and support at www.mosaicfunerals.ca
