OSWALD (Ozzie) Keith Thomas

Ozzie passed away peacefully on June 23, 2017 at St. Boniface Hospital in Winnipeg, Mb.
Ozzie was born on December 7, 1952 in Beausejour, MB; to Emily and Stanley Thomas.
Ozzie held a 35 year career as a long haul truck driver. When he wasn't on the road he enjoyed spending his time with family in the country; bbq's, playing horseshoes and listening to his talented brothers and sisters playing guitar and singing around the bonfire.
Ozzie is survived by his Wendy his loving wife of 30 years, his son Shannon; step children; Derek (Tracey), Craig, and Tabatha, Grandchildren; Jonathon, Kolby, and Gabriella.
He will be dearly missed by his brothers: Irwin (Jeannie), Malcolm (Carol), Leon, Warren (wendy); his sisters: Lori, Dell, Ginny(Charles), Brenda, Daphne (Fred), Barb (Gord), Debbie (Dave), Cora (Al); his
half sisters: Lori, Dell, Daphne, Ginny, Brenda; his Inlaws: Graham (Marianne), Harris, Sherman, Iris, Sharon, Heather (Harold), Gloria(Reg), Lyela (Jack) and his many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Predeceased by his parents, Emily and Stanley; his son Dwayne, brother Douglas and his sisters Nora , Kay and Myrna.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the staff at the Health Sciences Centre and the St.Boniface Hospital for providing their loving care and compassion to Ozzie.
Cremation has taken place and a graveside service will follow at a later date.
