My memories of my dear friend Louis, always included fun times, laughter & sincerity. He treated every friend he knew as family, and my daughter Brittany & I were no different. We had wonderful times together whenever he had Summer get togethers with friends at his home. Even though we didn't know all his friends, the one thing that bonded us was the feeling of belonging & it just seemed like we already knew each other for years even though we had never met. That is the magic that my friend Louis bestows. He was always there for us to support us in whatever we wanted his support for. In the case of my daughter, Brittany, he was always supportive of her perfomances & tried to be there to witness as many as he could. He was always proud of her accomplishments & she always knew her Uncle Louis was. It was always fun & love whenever he babysat Brittany for me, and a truer friend I couldn't find.
Going through my divorce was one of the hardest things in my life, but Louis was always there for me. I decided to take Brittany away for a short trip, just to get her out of that atmosphere during that tough time, and Louis had offered to babysit her pet Betta while we were gone. The Betta I had bought to allow Brittany to be distracted by caring for the Beta, so it meant a lot to her. One of our funniest stories from Louis was when he unknowingly put the Betta's fishbowl beside his cat clock, and he laughingly couldn't figure out why the poor fish was swimming erratically while he stayed with him. LOL! Finally he moved the fish bowl into another area of his home, and realized he actually prevented the poor pet from having a heart attack. He realized the cat clock was the culprit!
Ah Louis, how will we ever live without your laughs & your soft demaenor, your smooth voice and calming nature? He was not only loved by us,but every person who crossed his path. I worked with Louis at CalmAir, and our flights together were the best! Passenger thought the world of him, and their faces all lit up when he greeted them on a flight. He had a special bond with them too,and as I said he treated everyone as family, even his precious passenegrs too. He has gone to visit some in the hospital when they were ill, and even attended family events that they lovingly invited him to.
We love you so much, and hope that although we wish you to now be able to Rest In Peace, a little part of us hope that you are standing right beside us always. It took me a while to write this, as I am still in disbelief that you are no longer here. I can't just message you anymore,or call your cell. :( My heart aches to know that you are no longer in this world. Rest well my sweet friend. I just wish I could get just one more of your great hugs before we say goodbye.
Love you always, my dear Louis
Meet you in Heaven <3 <3
