The Wilbert Copper Triune burial vault is the middle offering of the double-reinforced burial vaults. This vault has an extra heavy concrete construction with a seamless high impact ABS Trilon inner liner bonded to the concrete for reinforcing. ABS is a material similar to that used to manufacture computer casing and telephone receivers. Additionally, bonded to the ABS is an inner liner of solid copper, adding not only beauty to the vault, but increased structural strength as well. A gleaming carapace on the cover matches the inner liner of solid copper with a nameplate including the deceased's name, year of birth, and year of death, as well as a choice of emblems. Copper is a fine material used in casket and burial vault construction because of its natural resistance to corrosion; buried copper artifacts have been dated back to 2500 B.C., and the Dome at the Legislative Building & Roof at the Ft. Garry Hotel is also known to be overlain in copper sheets.
